On Black Friday (the day after the American holiday of Thanksgiving) the world’s shoppers descend onto their local stores, or sign into their favourite retail websites to bag an enormous bargain.

Sympathising with those of us who aren’t fond of early mornings is EA, who, instead of hosting Black Friday sales on the day itself, or hosting timed deals throughout the day, is doing a weeklong Black Friday sale on its Origin storefront instead. A variety of games (not just EA-published titles) are up for grabs, with discounts of fifa coins up to 75%. Find out more after the break.

Black Friday 2015: EA Origin Sale
There’s a sweltering amount of Black Friday deals available on EA’s Origin store right now, including discounts on: Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, SimCity, Need for Speed Rivals, Titanfall, Tomb Raider (2013), Rainbow Six Siege, and even The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We encourage you to take a look at all of them, but our personal picks are below:

The Sims 4 (50% off): The Sims 4 is a game that we’ve been ranting and raving about all year. Along with all of the free content that EA has doled out via various Sims 4 patches, there have also been paid for DLC such as the career-themed expansion pack, The Sims 4 Get to Work. Both the base Sims 4 game and Get to Work are discounted in the Black Friday sale.

FIFA 16 (40% off): While EA’s FIFA 16 doesn’t quite look as good as its Konami-made rival, PES 2016, it’s still a fantastic game. This year, new features such as the introduction of women’s international teams and the much needed overhauls to career mode (e.g the training players can now do before games) make it an essential fifa 16 accountpurchase for any footie fan.

Dragon Age: Inquisition (just over 60% off): If you’re looking for an RPG to play this Christmas (well, an RPG that’s not Fallout 4, anyway) then Dragon Age: Inquisition is an excellent choice. It’s typical fantasy fun (you can fight dragons, Templars, mages and all that jazz), a huge time-sink and you can also romance your party members (there are same-sex romances). Both the standard version of Dragon Age: Inquisition and the Game of the Year edition with all of the DLC are discounted in EA’s Black Friday sale.
